Undergraduate Finance Association
UFA is dedicated to creating career and educational opportunities for students interested in the field of finance. This is achieved by:
• Creating a society for like-minded students who want to learn about investments and finance.
• Providing networking opportunities with the local investment management community, including mid-tier and bulge-bracket investment funds, financial advisors, banks, and investment banks.
• Fostering closer relationships with UCI Economics Department, the Paul Merage Business School faculty and MBA students.
• Creating the first-of-its-kind Student Managed Investment Fund at UCI, giving students hands-on experience in managing an investment fund with active collaboration with the faculty advisers and competing in investment competitions.
• Providing recruiters with resources such as financial aid and marketing in order to enhance the desirability of UCI as a school from which to draw a work force.

My name is Tony Chan. I am the Student Liaison for FPA and I was wondering if I could perhaps schedule a time to come in and talk to you guys about FPA and what we have to offer. FPA currently have 4 scholarship available to students if they are interested in seating for the CFP Exam. Keir also announced that they have a scholarship available to people that’s interested in taking the CFP exam as well.
I was a student not too long ago and I did appreciated if I had someone informed me about the FPA while I was in college. I hope to use this opportunity to help and guide some of the students that are interested in Financial planning as a career.
